Walkin’ for wildlife


Stretch your legs and get ready to explore Mother Nature with the second annual Walk for Wildlife, May 7-8 at the Blue Creek Conservation Area (7790 Schadel Rd., Whitehouse). As a fundraiser for Nature’s Nursery, the event will help support wildlife rehabilitation and conservation education in Northwest Ohio. Friday’s event is for school groups from 10 a.m. – noon, and Saturday is open to the public, with registration at 9 a.m., followed by a walk at 10 a.m. The event features a one-mile course, with ongoing programs and activities at education stations sponsored by Nature’s Nursery and its partner organizations.
