Sign Up Your Kids to be Safety Testers

Great Lakes Marketing is currently looking for children aged 3 and 4 to serve as safety testers.

Child-resistant packaging became required when the Poison Prevention Packaging Act of 1970 was passed. This act requires the use of child-resistant packaging for prescription drugs, over-the-counter drugs, household chemicals, and other hazardous materials that could be dangerous for children.

Consequently, a product evaluation program was created by the U.S. government and regulated by the Consumer Product Safety Commission.  Since child-resistant features became mandatory, trips to emergency departments and calls to poison control centers have dropped dramatically.

Since no package is child PROOF, be prepared by texting POISON to 301-597-7137 to have the Poison Control phone number immediately added to your contacts.

But how do we really know a product is designed the right way? One of the best ways is to test it with the experts themselves: your children!

New products enter the market every day, and as children get smarter and households get busier, safety testing is more important than ever. Operation Safe Child evaluates products year-round, and the need for children to put these products to the test has never been greater.

Interested families can contact [email protected] or call 419-481-1048 to sign up. The evaluation takes about 30 minutes, and each child receives $100 for helping make the world just a little safer. Remember, you can make a difference.

Join the effort to keep kids safe by adding your child to our team of safety testers right here in the Toledo area. And get paid!
