Raising Disabled Children hosts its 1st Annual Golf Scramble at the Links of Lake Erie Golf Course in Monroe, Michigan on Saturday, August 14. Four-player teams kick off with a shotgun start at 1:30 p.m.; entry cost is $75 per person, which includes 18 holes of golf, use of a cart, prizes for the top two teams, a 50/50 skins game, door prizes, and a hamburger and chicken sandwich dinner. The funds raised by this event benefit Raising Disabled Children’s efforts to help local handicapped and sick children acquire desperately needed medical supplies; send the children to other states for medical help; or help the children and their families attend helpful conventions concerning their specific medical issue.
