The Horseshoe Leadership Center in Tucker County, WV is looking for counselors for their 2022 summer camp season.
The camp, sponsored by the Ohio-West Virginia Youth Leadership Association, is looking for people aged 18 or older who are willing to work with teens and young children in an energized and educational setting.
Counselors commit to the ten-week program with multiple camps offered during the season. Teen entrepreneurship camps are available, as well as youth leadership camps. The Leadership Center also offers an adventure camp for kids aged 7-12.
Counselors will facilitate and participate in outdoor activities, creative projects, educational presentations and overall support for the campers.
Benefits include a $330/week allowance, along with meals, lodging and a three-week paid training program. Counselors may also earn an Education Award of $1200 for higher education costs if they qualify.
The Horseshoe Leadership Center provides an outdoor setting and upholds its commitment to health and safety guidelines to protect all counselors, campers and staff from COVID-19.
