There’s a new school in town— and it came all the way from the West Coast. iLEAD, an education company based in Los Angeles, is opening its first Ohio school this August in Spring Meadows. A public charter school, iLEAD—which stands for International, Leadership, Entrepreneurial Development, Arts and Design— is a community-minded school that has local, national, and international partners, including NASA scientists. “I think of us as a STEAM school,” says Tiffany Adamski, iLEAD regional director. “Science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics.” While iLEAD Spring Meadows has plans for high school in Ohio, it is starting off in 2016 with grades K-8.
