Girl Scouts adds 23 new STEM and outdoor badges

The Girl Scouts are a proven success-based organization, motivating girls with a sense of teamwork and pride in a job well done. Girl Scouts continue to encourage women to take on leadership roles, adding 23 new STEM and outdoor badges. STEM, which stands for Science Technology Engineering and Math, focuses on the most needed future jobs in the U.S. STEM badges get the girls interested in and set up for entry into those disciplines and are earned through activities such as building robots and race cars, writing computer code and taking environmentally conscious camping trips.
