Bowling Green gets the gold

For Bowling Green Middle School students a new school and performing arts center is a treat. The new facility is 140,000 square feet and includes a gymnasium equipped to accommodate 626 and has four locker rooms. Along with the new gymnasium, the middle and high schools are now connected by the performing arts center that can accommodate just under 750. The performing arts center has a wooden-floor rehearsal room, men’s and women’s locker rooms, and many support rooms. The lobby will support 100 people for luncheons and dinner meetings. Bowling Green Middle School and Performing Arts Center earned LEED Gold Certification, making it the first certified school in Ohio as well as the first certified performing arts center
in the state.
