Been thinking about pursuing a new career but not sure how to get started? The Salon Professional Academy in Perrysburg (TSPA Perrysburg) recently announced their accreditation by the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts & Sciences and the approval to offer Federal Financial Aid through The Department of Education to students who qualify for tuition and living expense assistance.
Denise Soto, owner of TSPA Perrysburg knows what this means to local individuals and, ultimately, our economy: “Many students who wish to pursue an education and career in the beauty industry are unable to afford to do so. Our accreditation by NACCAS and our approval to offer Federal Student Aid now gives us the ability to help students, who quality, cover their educational costs utilizing Title IV funding — that’s a big plus in our current economy.”
What, exactly, would you learn at TSPA Perrysburg? As the only beauty school endorsed by Redken for excellence in education, the academy offers certification in programs including cosmetology, esthetics, and nails, along with development of critical business building skills necessary for a long-term career in the industry. The academy also has an exclusive partnership with Owens Community College allowing TSPA graduates to receive 15 credit hours towards an Associate’s degree in Technological Studies.
