Jim Gill’s Sing-a-thon of Celebrated Songs
Jim Gill is an award-winning musician and author known for celebrating active play. Clap, sing, play, and dance along at the Main library as he strums his banjo! 1:30-2:30 pm.

Bring chairs, blankets, snacks and family to enjoy Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile at Glenwood Park.
A Friends & Family Fun Night will precede Guardians of the Galaxy at Ottawa Park. Play oversized games like Jenga and Connect 4, and eSports video games. There will also be giveaways!

The Toledo Museum of Art will host two free family events around the exhibit Black Orpheus: Jacob Lawrence and the Mbari Club. A story time with Nykiiah Wright of Ms. Nikki’s Traveling Story Bag at noon, and a viewing of Disney’s Queen of Katwe following.

The Frederick Douglass Community Center will host this year’s National Night Out, an evening when local police officers gather with the community in a fun setting.

DJ’s Folk and Mattimoe will be playing a mix of old school roller skating jams, funk, soul, disco, reggae, Latin, and house music to keep you in the groove. Admission is free, equipment rentals are available at an additional cost.

NAMI of Greater Toledo is offering a FREE art workshop just for kids/teens. Creative Kids provides an opportunity for children/adolescents (6 to 17 years old) to express themselves creatively through art and identify positive coping skills. Registration is required.
