Wild movies take flight

It’s a big screen version of Maurice Sendak’s classic children’s book, which follows the story of Max, a disobedient boy who’s sent to bed without his supper and creates his own world — a forest inhabited by ferocious wild creatures that crown Max as their ruler. Cast includes Catherine Keener, Mark Ruffalo, James Gandolfini, Forest Whitaker and Lauren Ambrose. 

Rated PG for some sexuality, language, thematic elements and smoking.
In theaters 10/23. Ok for kids 9+. 3.5 out of 5 Reels.
Hilary Swank plays Amelia Earhart in the early stages of her illustrious life. The movie follows her life leading up to her disappearance while flying over the Pacific Ocean in 1937, in an attempt to fly around the world. Directed by Mira Nair, the cast also includes Ewan McGregor, Richard Gere, Christopher Eccleston, and Mia Wasikowska.
