Once the main source of transportation, railroads helped to create the America (and Toledo) we know today. Step into the locomotive during the Ninth Annual National Train Day Toledo for a variety of train and railroad-related activities. As the depot fills with “conductors” of all ages, everyone will have the opportunity to see train cars from the Ann Arbor and Norfolk Southern Railroads up close and personal. The day also features informative rail safety courses, miniature model trains, vendors with educational books and videos for children, as well as local food trucks from The Displaced Chef, Rosie’s Restaurant, and Rusty’s Road Trip to keep your appetite on track.
