Sylvania Community Action Team (SCAT) encouraged middle schoolers and high schoolers last month to create a 30-60 second video about the dangers of underage drinking in their Youth Video Contest “Underage Drinking – Not a Minor Problem.” Participants could either work individually or with a group to create their videos. The students’ works will be showcased during the screening on May 2 and ranked 1st-3rd place by judges in the two categories of High School (9th-12th grade) and Middle School (6th-8th grade). One selection will be crowned the Audience Choice award in addition to the original two categories.
