New historical friends

Rosa Parks, one of the most popular ladies of her time, made history by refusing to move to the back of the bus in 1955. But, she wasn’t alone in her stand during the Civil Rights Movement. During the national tour of “Rosa Parks and Forgotten Friends”, Rosa introduces youngsters to other prominent figures during the days of racial segregation. Say hello to Frederick Douglass, Buffalo Soldiers, Tuskegee Airmen and Sojourner Truth, important and celebrated characters of the colorful African-American history in America.
