Meet the New Otter Pups at the Toledo Zoo

Four North American river otter pups have joined the family at The Toledo Zoo. Visit the zoo to see Tilly the mom, Winston the dad and their pups Sutton, Tallulah, Kaya and Talon.

Their habitat is in Tembo Trail and they can be seen daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., however, they may retreat to their indoor spaces at any time.

The new pups were born on Dec. 7 and include two males and two females, each sporting their own unique personality. Visitors may observe the adventurous Kaya, shy Talon, ambitious Tallulah and sleepy Sutton in their habitat.

While being monitored by the zoo’s animal care team, the otters have learned to learned to swim, transitioned to solid foods and have been introduced to dad.
