Celebrate Valentine’s Day with Toledo Metroparks

Events for the whole family at Pearson Park

Valentine’s Day is fast-approaching and the Toledo Metroparks are offering a variety of events for everyone to celebrate.

Pearson Park is offering a Valentine’s Day Celebration on February 11 for adults as part of their “No Kids Allowed” series.

Couples can enjoy a self-guided walk through Pearson Park along a lantern-lit trail. A Cupid Archery Station is available for anyone who would like to try their hand at archery. In the Packer-Hammersmith Center, visitors can enjoy appetizers along with seasonal drinks, and the night will conclude with gourmet s’mores!

If you want some alone time but need somewhere to take the kids, childcare is available at the Kids Night Out event at Macomber Lodge. Kids can explore the park at night on a guided tour and learn about nocturnal animals, make Valentines for the park wildlife, and enjoy snacks inside Macomber Lodge. This event is part of the Adventure Kids Club series by the Toledo Metroparks.

After some alone time, the whole family can join in on Valentine’s Day fun at Pearson Park on February 12. Cupid Archery Station will still be available for use. Everyone is welcome on the lantern-lit trail walk and the Packer-Hammersmith Center is open for snacks, drinks, and s’mores everyone can enjoy.
