At Peace Love and Pottery Studio, visitors get to select a piece of pottery from the large selection of pre-fired bisqueware, choose glazes, and then paint three coats on their piece. The Imagination Press is an interactive art and apparel workshop where creators of all ages can immerse themselves in creative DIY projects. At Imagination Press, creators will have the opportunity to use materials such as colors, designs, inks, and accents to execute their own screen-printing project. With augmented reality technology, creators can also make video canvas print designs. After finishing their art/apparel projects, creators are encouraged to stop by the magic selfie station (which includes a greenscreen and props) to take a photo with their finished product.
The Imagination Press will be celebrating its ribbon cutting on April 6, 2023 and owner Nick Kunkel has expressed enthusiasm for bringing this “interactive crafting and retail experience to the Toledo area.” In tandem with the store opening, The Imagination Press will be launching the Glass City Gold Rush, which is a unique scavenger hunt and social experiment that will bring the Toledo community together in pursuit of a $5,000 cash prize.
