Don’t throw away your shot to see Hamilton as it comes to Toledo for a two-week run at the Stranahan Theater. The Tony and Grammy award-winning musical will perform 16 shows from August 23, 2022 through September 4.
Hamilton bills itself as “the story of America then, told by America now,” based on the biography by Ron Chernow, with a score that blends Broadway with hip-hop, jazz and R&B. Written by Lin-Mauel Miranda, it has been an unprecedented success. What better way to teach your kids about American history than through the lens of musical theater? The infectious soundtrack will populate their minds long after it’s time to take their AP history exams.
