Did you know that September is National Friendship Month? During each week of September, The Imagine Neighborhood podcast is celebrating with new friendship-themed episodes featuring special celebrity guest stars. If you are interested in joining the fun, check out the exciting lineup for September:
September 13 – The Hastabee
Carly Ciarrocchi, star of Disney’s humorous science show Weird But True, guest stars as an award-winning pillow fort designer with a lot of rules, or “hastabees” for the way a pillow fort is designed. When characters Scotty and Count Vacula are set about building their own epic pillow fort, Carly throws the book at them and the pillow fort starts crumbling. Will our heroes escape before being covered in blankets? And will they all learn the difference between a “nice to have” and a “hastabee?”
September 20 – No Filter With Count Vacula
Peter Sagal, host of NPR’s Wait, Wait Don’t Tell Me, joins The Imagine Neighborhood, as a part of the ongoing “No Filter With Count Vacula” series. A robot vacuum vampire cleaner learns how to make new friends, and that feelings aren’t bad, they’re just feelings!
The Imagine Neighborhood is aligned with the award-winning social emotional learning curriculum Second Step, produced by Committee for Children. For over 40 years, the Committee for Children has championed the safety and well-being of children.
