Helping parents of miscarriage heal

Miscarriage support group

The loss of a child comes with much sadness and heartbreak.
More than 40 years ago the Caring and Restoring Each Other (CARE)
support group was started by grieving parents and a neonatologist
at what is now Promedica Toledo Children’s Hospital. CARE
is for parents who have lost a baby from miscarriage through the
first few months of life. Hospital facilitators organize the meetings,
but it’s often the grieving parents that help each other the most.

While parents are encouraged to share their stories, sharing is not
required, listening often has a healing effect, too. This open group
meets the third Tuesday of every month in the Education Center
at Promedica Toledo Hospital at 7:30pm. There is no registration
and no cost.
